Shit shit shit-I took time today to look at the orchard. We have bud swell, if not some green tip in the stone fruit. If this weather keeps up we may not have any stone fruit to share this year. I have to put on a dormant spray as soon as possible. Hopefully I can get it in tomorrow before the rain moves in.
I picked up some lettuce plants yesterday and other herbs yesterday. It has dried up enough to use the small rototiller to till up the raise beds in the garden. I planted four each of Romain and three other varieties of more tender lettuce. I covered the raised bed with sheeting and hopefully that will protect them from any cold weather.
Wow I was out there I pick some spinach that has a overwintered in the third race bed it was for a day or two and then another curly variety.
