A heavy 25 lb. I wrenched my shoulder or injured something picking him up to move him last week. He's showing some stubbornness and a little temper when he doesn't appreciate the way his life is going but that will just make him a strong personality (once we harness it). He's getting the location of the outside bathroom down, which helps but he still doesn't want to make the trip himself most of the time. That's our work assignment for this coming week. We've played with balls and did some play retrieves but I have always believed in letting the puppy be a puppy for a time.
He does seem to notice flying things - a buzzard cruising the field or a "V" of geese crossing the sky - He notices everything sooner that I do, but I guess he is always looking up. He is growing like a weed. Still some puppy teething on us issues, but they are happening less so.
He really is a sweetie and the house is more alive (and dirtier) with a dog in it, but that's the price you pay. He's fine with the garden and will go through the gate but realizes trying to get through the electric fence is not a good idea.
